Coach Rob Kolar brings over two decades of experience as an educator, physical education teacher, counselor, and athletic coach. He currently officiates at the AAA, ACHA, and Division 1 high school levels, giving him a deep understanding of the game from multiple perspectives.
A lifelong hockey player, Rob began his journey as a youth travel player with the Marina City Sharks. He has captained numerous teams, won multiple championships, and continued competing successfully into adulthood. His playing background, combined with his extensive officiating and coaching experience, enables him to develop players who are fundamentally strong, tactically aware, and mentally resilient.
Coach Kolar’s philosophy centers on building skill, hockey sense, team spirit and competitive character which serve athletes both on the ice and in life. He is passionate about helping players reach their potential in a positive, disciplined, and growth-oriented environment.
