Armen Bubushyan

Armen began his hockey career with the California Golden Bears in 1991 and transitioned into coaching with the same organization in 2004. Since then, he has built a reputation for consistent success, leading teams to the playoffs in all but two seasons while coaching across nearly every youth level—from mites through 16U AA. Known for his focus on player development and team structure, Armen emphasizes skill progression and competitive play.
From 2020 to 2023, he stepped away from team coaching to operate Apex Training Facility, where he specialized in individual shooting, stickhandling, and strength and conditioning development. He returned to coaching in 2023 and looks forward to continuing to work with and develop young athletes.
